Childhood is a critical period in the formation of a person's thoughts, emo-tions, and ideals.
The years and were pivotal in Iran's history. Indeed, the Iran-Iraq war, the countless bombings, the news of the martyrdom of teenagers and the elderly, the influx of people to underground shelters, which were often built in neighborhoods or schools, have all been significant factors in travel, migra-tion, and displacement of the Iranians. Despite the fact that a large number of people stood up and attempted to ensure the survival of their country.

Ghazal flourished despite a lack of basic facilities, particularly paper and oth-er stationary tools. Collecting small, colored pieces of paper, clipping maga-zines carrying contents about war and her countrymen, dried flowers among the pages of books, keeping bird feathers, daily diaries of TV news, working with expired makeup, etc., have been helpful in forming a picture out of her scattered thoughts.

She paid close attention to the clothes scattered on the streets and the public's chaos caused by the bombs and holes in the city of Tehran. To get rid of her fear, she used to paint and picture gatherings of all families in their houses.

Today, she continues to work under the influence of public culture and changes brought about by societal problems such as social fashions, the economy, and other daily affairs. She is currently volunteering to help homeless and disabled chil-dren in Bafq. Yazd Province, as well as in the capital city of Tehran. One of her favorite activities is telling children ancient Iranian stories. Ghazal's video art is also inspired by everyday life and consumable objects.
